Marrakech train station in pictures

Marrakech railway station on Avenue Hassan II, the southern end of Morocco's rail network. The current building opened in 2008 next to the original 1923 station, opposite the Théâtre Royal, with trains north to Casablanca, Rabat, Fes and Tangier.

Good to know

Al Boraq high-speed trains do not reach Marrakech yet; you change at Casablanca for them.
The Supratours coach station is next door on Avenue Hassan II, with coaches to Essaouira, Agadir and the south.
An Ibis hotel stands directly beside the station building.
From the airport it is 7.1 km, about 10 min by road.

Where the driver stops

On the forecourt by the main entrance. For a train pickup the driver waits there with a name sign; if you arrive by Supratours coach instead, say so, because the coach stop is next door rather than at the station doors.

Questions about this transfer

Can you meet us off the train instead of at the airport?

Yes. Send the train's arrival time and where you are heading; the driver meets you at the main entrance with a name sign. Station pickups to any Marrakech district are on the in-town card, 300 MAD per car; to the airport or another city, the route price.

Does the high-speed train run to Marrakech?

Not yet. Work on the Kenitra–Marrakech high-speed line began in 2025, with opening planned for around 2029. Until then, the regular train runs north to Casablanca, where Al Boraq continues to Rabat and Tangier.

Can you meet us off a Supratours coach?

Yes. Say you are arriving by Supratours and send the coach's arrival time. The coach stop is next door to the railway station on Avenue Hassan II, and the driver waits there with a name sign.
