Marrakech to Agadir by road
The motorway runs west across the plain to Chichaoua, then climbs through the western High Atlas by Imintanoute and Argana before it drops to the coast. The mountain part is the only stretch with long climbs and bends.
Service areas along the motorway have fuel, coffee and toilets, and most drivers stop at one for a short break.
Bus or private transfer
The bus is cheap and runs often. For two or more people with suitcases, add the taxi to the Marrakech bus terminal, the taxi in Agadir and the time spent waiting. One car at 1,650 MAD often comes out close, and it leaves when you are ready.
With children, the car lets you stop when you need to. Child seats are available on request; give the ages when you book.

Arriving in Agadir
The driver drops you at your hotel or apartment door. Agadir's hotels line a long sandy bay, so there is no walk with the bags.
If you are staying in Taghazout or Tamraght, book that leg instead. The driver continues through Agadir and up the coast road.
Best time to leave
Leave Marrakech in the morning. You cross the mountain section in daylight and reach the beach by lunch.
For a late landing, a pickup between 23:00–04:59 carries a 20% supplement. You can also sleep in Marrakech and drive down the next morning.
Flying in to Marrakech, staying in Agadir
If your best flight lands in Marrakech, the driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign and you are on the motorway soon after. The price is the same as from a Marrakech hotel.

A sedan takes 3 guests and 3 large suitcases. For a family with more bags, or golf bags, book the van at 2,150 MAD for up to 7.
