Ourika valley: transfer or day with a driver
Two transfers to Setti Fatma and back cost 1,100 MAD per car in Standard; the village is 63 km from the Medina, about 1 h 20 by road. If you are coming back the same day, the Ourika day trip costs less, 900 MAD per car, and the driver stays with you all day. Book two transfers only if you stay the night in the valley.

Timing
- Leave in the morning: the drive is about 1 h 20 each way and the waterfall walk takes a few hours.
- The valley road can flood after heavy rain, mostly between November and March.
- Wear shoes with grip: the path to the first waterfall goes over rocks.

Do we need a guide for the waterfalls?
Not for the first waterfall. For the higher falls a local guide from the village helps; you pay them directly.
